"Absolutely lovely stay. Very friendly and helpful owners and some really nice extra touches around the place (eg. little Halloween gifts/sweets left in the room and at breakfast). Breakfast is superb, plenty of choice and something for everyone (even a picky 8-year old!). Beds very comfortable and rooms very clean. Hotel perfectly situated, just a couple of hundred yards from bars, restaurants, amusement arcades and the seafront. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone. "

"The hotels website pictures are not a true depiction of the hotel, very dated interior, shower was that small a child would be the max size person to use it, breakfast was ok but I asked for poached eggs on toast wasn't asked if wanted white or Brown and got 2 eggs on 1 slice of toast??. Also there was not a self service cereal area like most hotels and guest houses have including juices or yoghurts they were non existent. Such a shame these little issues exist as the Staff were all lovely and...

Grosvenor House Hotel

"We booked to stay for the weekend in December for our anniversary and when we arrived after a two and half hour drive we found the hotel closed apparently for a refit. The hotel have not replied to my email and the phone number is not in use. We had to walk around at 7pm in the wind and rain looking for alternative accommodation which cost a further £100. Hotels.com still have not refunded my money"
