"Very clean and safe "

"Check in was quick but the room wasn’t clean with sand all over the floor. The room didn’t have any towels at all. Had to call the housekeeper at midnight to get towels. The shower took 15 minutes to have hot water running. "

"The staff were absolutely amazing. Always there from check in to check out to make sure I was well looked after. Everyone had a wonderful smile that always made it a lovely environment. Aircon was great and room spacious."

"Mahesa Bhagwan was the highlight of our time in Sri Lanka without a doubt - if you are tossing up whether to book, I hope this review convinces you! I am so happy I booked this place and feel it was absolutely worth every penny - every time we returned after a busy day exploring Jaffna, it felt like coming home to an oasis. It is a simple and beautifully restored house but every detail of your stay is seen to. The staff at Mahesa are an absolute credit to Jetwing, they absolutely made our stay wonderful with unparalleled hospitality. They were very helpful with additional requests such as finding bus timetables and arranging tuk tuks. I recommend having a meal or two at the house - prepared by their lovely cook in Jaffna style. The breakfast was also delicious. "
