"We absolutely loved the central location and the atmosphere of the old hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly. We stayed in room 15 and you could watch everyone shoot photos. We loved having a safe place to park for a small fee. The only drawback was the shower. It went from warm to scalding hot, then back to cold. My husband and i were both burned mid-shower. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. "

"The Burg-Hotel was amazing. We stayed in “the apartment” and it was spacious and lovely. The back garden is FABULOUS. We so enjoyed an evening sunset and glass of wine there! "As others have said, it is an odd check-in experience. Your in a lobby with vending machines and an ATM, and do an automated check in that was straight forward and delivers your keys. The entrance is on the left side of the building outside the lobby, and you do have to climb a flight of stairs to the rooms. The place feels totally empty. But the room is clean as can be, has all the essentials, storage, windows that open for fresh air and a nice shower. And you're staying inside the Rothenberg...
