"We really enjoyed this hotel (1-night family stay). It's a 5-minute walk from the station (and therefore the starting point for all Kamakura's attractions) in a very quiet, semi-pedestrian street. The staff were very courteous, helpful and available, and there was even an employee perfectly fluent in English. The room (double with an extra bed) was large for a Japanese hotel. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The only downside was that the room was too hot for our taste...

"Fantastic room (5th floor, 2 rooms on that floor) which is quite large, separate bedroom, living areas, and bathroom which has views, balcony views of Mt Fuji, beach, and Enoshima. Nice king sized bed, good tea and coffee machine, bathroom is huge with decent bath, shower, and views over bay. Good restaurants in vicinity (maybe 5 minute walk to the restaurant hub but Mosberger is next door). Choice of breakfast, we took the Japanese style which is pretty decent - fish, rice or rice...

"It was great. Wonderful, friendly and thoughtful staff. Front desk was great help with so many questions. It's nice that some staff did not speak English, and some did very well. One morning my daughter was exhausted and couldn't make breakfast. Without asking the chef packed her a special to go breakfast that was perfect and amazing. Arigato gozaimasu Kamakura WeBase.... The new beds and feather pillows were difficult for us to sleep on. Futon firmness and personal preferences. "

"Casablanca Pool House was an absolute incredible experience they’re so kind and accommodating, the house is so clean upon arrival, having a private pool and outdoor tub is rare to find in Japan especially on a last minute booking ! "It is a short walk from the station and there are restaurants along the way and several convenience stores in the area (in addition to the stores at the station). It is very clean. The hotel staff made our stay very easy and pleasant. The laundry facility and drink vending machines were great. It was very convenient for my family. "

"The owner was very polite. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The stairs to the second floor were a little steep but it was no issue for me and my friends. The beach is near by and also the train station. Would 100 percent recommend. "

A true White Glove service!

"A true 5-star service. This hotel is very catered for tourists, everyone can speak English and info is well translated. Hotel is well maintained. Service is excellent. Buffet breakfast has an extensive selection of food choices. But it felt a little too crowded. Would be nice if there is a table service option available. Overall a very enjoyable experience that I would recommend. "

"The staff at Mitsui was amazing and incredibly accommodating. The facilities (gym,pool,lobby and restaurant) were clean and room cleaning services were available everyday. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again. "

"The location is very good, with many places to eat nearby. Manyo Club is within walking distance, so you can enjoy a hot spring while staying in Yokohama. The food in the hotel is of a level that matches the hotel's quality, so you won't have any trouble in inviting guests for a meal. It is also very convenient that it is a limousine bus departure and arrival point."

"This hotel is worth every dollar. Although a little high up in the mountain with not much to walk to around it, it was definitely worth staying there. Very welcoming and warm you feel right at home. The spa facility was very nice and cozy. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel which was delicious and highly recommended by locals for the wood fire oven. We walked to a small sushi restaurant as well right by the hotel for lunch and it was surprinsingly very good! We had bad weather and only stayed 1 night but it was very enjoyable. The rooms we booked were amazing, so spacious, with views and private onsens. I definitely recommend it. Staff was very nice and helped a lot with transportation and other questions"
