"First I must mention it's very foreign friendly I saw a good number of foreigners and the staff had pretty good English skills I was pretty shocked at first. Omg I can not gush enough about my stay it was so nice, I decided to solo travel to Japan and was so nervous but once I got to the hotel I felt a lot better, they have a very easy self check-in area then the receptionist, easy check-out process too. Location was perfect I could walk 5 minutes anywhere and find sky.ethi g plus it was close to the train stations which is a plus. Staff was very friendly,, food was amazing. Room felt really nice and independent it really helped me love my stay in Japan."

"Very beautiful hotel. Feels like a luxury hotel which is incredible for the price! The pool and fitness area cost extra which is a little weird but worth it!! There’s a swimming pool and jacuzzi that families can be together in and there are men & women only bathes as well for relaxing time. The buffets are amazing!!"

"Hotel Groove Shinjuku is located at the heart of Shinjuku, about 9 mins walk to the train station. It’s an exciting and vibrant area , but be prepared to be hit by massive crowds at most times of the day. Room is small but comfortable. My room on the 35 level has amazing views that you can see far and wide. I love walking up to sun rise on a particularly sunny clear morning. Guest need to take the lift on ground level to 18 floor hotel lobby to get to guest rooms, that can be a hassle. Self service check in is encouraged but I had help from hotel staff. There is hotel shuttle bus at ground level and it can be convenient. But private shuttle service or taxis can be a hassle to pinpoint exact location as no other transport can use the same pick up area. I find that really a downside. The hotel is not at fault just Kabukicho tower’s regulation. Was a pleasant stay but I find Shinjuku too over crowded and overwhelming. Hotel is great just maybe the location is too much to feel relaxed. "

"Beautiful hotel with many amenities in the room. We booked an East wing family room for my family of three. It was very large with three twin size beds, a couch, a table with two chairs and two stools. Very clean and quiet. We stayed for seven nights so we felt very comfortable there. Staff was kind and attentive. Helped us send our bags to a different city. Two convenience stores and a Starbucks nearby. "
