You can start your tour in the market of El Arenal, which first opened in 1947. It’s one of the most lively spots in the whole neighbourhood, where you can buy typical quality produce and taste some delicious tapas and excellent wines. Cheers!
Then, head on over to the emblematic Torre del Oro, a tower on the banks of the River Guadalquivir. This defensive tower was built in 1220 and consists of three sections. Today, it is home to the Naval Museum of Seville. You should also know that it used to connect to the Torre de la Plata by the city wall.
Next to the Torre del Oro, you’ll find the imposing Teatro de la Maestranza theatre. Interestingly, there are more than 150 operas set in Seville, yet until 1991, when this space was inaugurated, there was no place to perform them. Complete your package deals to El Arenal and take in a show!
