"Nice staff. Central location. Room Doors seemed to slam shut so regular loud slams. Noise from the freeway but it’s tolerable. Nice canteen with affordable prices and fashion valley mall is easy to walk to. The area is basically traffic only so you definitely need a car. Saw one homeless person. The laundry room door latch was broken and open to the public so it felt really dangerous as a woman being in the room alone at night. I would stay here again but with a car only. "This place is super pretty, but the check-in area is not that great. The staff was super friendly and kind, but I think it is somewhat stressful. You have the poor staff doing check-in and lattes at the same time. Additionally, you had everyone that was checking in and wanting a latte in the same area and near the lobby sitting area. If they were to format everything a little better, it would not be so stressful. "

"What a beautiful hotel with amazing views, rooms and service! Large comfortable rooms with super great beds. Balconies with either bay or marina view - you can’t go wrong! Great staff, friendly and helpful. Bargain parking @ $18 a night VS most other SD area hotels. "Great little hotel with a beach vibe. Older gentleman at check in was wonderful and seemed to be able to juggle all of the guests seamlessly. Close to shopping and restaurants. Park in front of room. Good hot water and comfortable bed. Most importantly, when I had to leave at 4am for the airport there was a security guard onsite paying attention to who was coming and going. Safety is obviously a priority here! Will stay again."

"I like that this place was very clean and had lots of parking. Nice location right next to I-5 and just outside of San Diego without the hassle of inner city traffic or extra rates. Also, walking distance to Hansel’s ice cream which was a highlight of the trip. "
