"I was here for solo travel for my birthday in October-November. I booked the deluxe double and another room here. I experienced exceptional service and hospitality here. I felt like a princess honestly. The decoration for Halloween was so fun and festive, there was delicious themed snacks and breakfast was amazing 5 stars!! I have no complaints at all. The staff was amazing! Tiago, Georg, the front desk and the chef. If you want true luxury and hospitality, you must experience Torel 1884. I can’t wait to come back!! "

"Wow, such a beautiful and historic hotel. We loved our accommodations, the location cannot be beat. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Pedro spent quite a bit of time with us detailing the different sites in Porto. Thank you, we visited so many places he suggested and had a great time. The breakfast is superb! The made-to-order eggs cooked by the staff were delicious and the fresh fruit, cheese, baked goods, and juices were delightful. Our room was gorgeous with a very comfortable and stylish sofa, unique furniture, cute kitchen, two spacious rooms for our family, and beautiful windows overlooking the city. The only negative was the toilet in the primary suite. It kept running unless you manually lifted the valve into the off position. But besides that, we had a wonderful stay and wish we could have stayed at least two more days. We will definitely stay here again if we visit Porto in the future. Obrigada, ciao Porto!"
