"This property was absolutely wonderful, out in the country with space between each house to go for a great walk but still feel safe. Woke up to a bit of fog coverage which just added to the ambiance. Only downfall was it was a bit difficult to find the reception office to check in. Breakfast buffet had so many options, and the staff was very friendly. "

"Should have taken more care in investigating. There was no restaurant and no air conditioning which is fine if you are expecting it. Reception was pretty good although the language was limited. But basically it boils down to me not taking enough care to choose properly."

"The property was admittedly further out from Cologne than we initially thought but the hotel itself was fantastic with a rail service and bus service bringing you straight to the front entrance. The rooms were perfect for our one night stay and the breakfast we had was exceptional. If I was ever back in this area I would certainly stay here again!"

"We picked this hotel as a stop off on the way to our skiing holiday. We wanted somewhere quiet with good parking, the hotel fulfilled both of these requirements. The hotel staff was very helpful, with check in and out being quick and hassle free. The room was nice, with a second bedroom for the children. Only two small things spoilt the room, the ash tray on the balcony had not been emptied and a light switch was hanging off the wall. As we were only stopping for one night, these wasn’t issues...

Arrived gone midnight and had to leave early so didn’t get to spend much time there but the reception staff member was very helpful; the room was beautiful and clean; lovely bathroom with huge walk in shower; grounds looked amazing. "This hotel was a very nice surprise given that it is off the beaten path. We chose it because of its location to three surrounding villages and it was a very nice stay. The restaurant was outstanding and the rooms spacious and accommodating. The rooms are not air conditioned which wasn’t a problem as the days were fairly cool. The toiletries were a bit spare and the wall hair dryer was a bit odd, but overall, the hotel and restaurant were very good and it is a great value for the money."

"For my needs, location and price, this hotel worked very well. Apart from the breakfast room and a few seats in reception there are no public areas to relax. However my room was comfortable enough and you could purchase drinks and snacks from reception. Staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the art hanging around the corridors and I loved the view of the cathedral from my room. "
