"We loved staying here. Laura was so nice to us, nothing was too much for her. From the warm welcome, providing information about Venice to the wonderful breakfast, she was always happy to help. "Beautiful hotel, a nice distance away from the crowds of St. Marks. Nice staff, with a special shout out to manager Gianluigi who resolved a hefty additional surchage fee due to my booking error. My room was huge, facing the canal, breakfast buffet was great and you could order additional items if desired. Highly recommend."

"Rooms are very nicely designed. There is no desk or other surface to place a laptop (and therefore no chair) - perhaps not a deal killer, but important to know. A big problem is the lack of a card lock to the main door of the hotel (work in progress). When the receptionist runs an errand, you will be waiting in front of a "back soon" sign. Staff shrugged off this concern."

"The place has got old world charm with friendly staff and excellent location. They provide complementary afternoon tea which was a novelty for us & the Indian girl who worked at that time was very polite to all the guests taking care of everyone. Our bathroom had been renovated which worked well despite dated nature of property. Only issue we felt was the lack of sound proofing otherwise it’s an excellent option for a few nights in Venice."
