"I recently stayed at the Waterfront Rooms at High Peaks Resort in Lake Placid, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and had a beautiful view of the water. The resort’s location is perfect—right in the heart of Lake Placid and just a short drive to Whiteface Mountain, making it an excellent choice for both relaxation and adventure. A special shoutout to Rodrigo at the reception desk, who went above and beyond to accommodate us with an early check-in. His warm welcome and helpful attitude made a great first impression and set the tone for a wonderful stay. The staff overall were friendly and attentive, and the resort’s proximity to Main Street made it easy to explore local shops and restaurants. I highly recommend High Peaks Resort and look forward to visiting again!"

"Great to place to stay when skiing at whiteface. Convenient location to the Olympic Legacy sites, easy drive to Whiteface Mount. Hot tub was great to soak in after a day of skiing. "

"Fun stay. Lots to do. Loved the room and lobby. Clean and modern. Staff was friendly. Comfortable bed , nice sitting room with couch in our room. Breakfast was a little skimpy. No phones in room. Only internet tv. Would stay here again. Good location to walk to sites and restaurants and shops. "
