"Gorgeous tent and outdoor space, unbelievable views, great outdoor shower, hot tub worked well and appreciated that they had a dehumidifier and heater in the tent. The property itself has such amazing views of the sunset, and we were a 30 sec walk from our dinner at San Lucas which was great! Also loved the wide variety of free snacks and the kitchen. "Wow what a great place to stay for a night or a month or longer. The place has all you will need to have a fantastic stay. Small kitchen to prepare your own meals if you so choose, dining table to have coffee at and eat. Comfy bed. Was all we needed and more than we expected for the price we paid. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever near Monteverde again. This place I’d perfecto."

"Location is great. Facilities are great. Front desk great. Felt that hot water did not last sufficiently long for a family of 4. Had golf cart parked on our parking space and when we tried driving around it to get to our unit we scratched car on the hedges which is unfortunate as it is a rental car. Some issues with bugs getting into the house which we had to remove as one of the members in our family was bug phobic. "

"The villas are great, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The property is beautiful and the dogs are the best part. So are the horses, goats, cows and chickens. We are so glad that the lovely staff are taking such amazing care of the animals, it is a great service they provide and a fantastic place to stay. Highly recommend"

"The place was dirty and there was so many bugs and creatures everywhere! Spiders, cockroaches and ants crawling all around the place. I was in bed and a spider ran across the covers! We were told to spray bug spray around to prevent this, but also couldn’t open the windows as it would let more creatures in! So we were coughing the entire time because of the spray and couldn’t sleep. We left the property two days early and only stayed one night "

"The staff was great. Checkin was a little confusing because I had 2 reservations that I needed to merge. But that got sorted out well. The place is generally clean, but a little dated. There are a number of rooms that are out of service. My understanding is that a new investor started just last year and they are working through modernizing the place. For the price it was perfectly fine."

"Lovely hotel in a great setting with very comfortable rooms . My only criticism would be the lack of interest at breakfast from the staff who were more interested in chatting or being on their phones than paying attention to customers which was a real shame as the food was lovely "

"Beautiful resort. Wish we had stayed longer. Staff everywhere were extremely friendly. We had a a 2nd floor deluxe room which faced the volcano but was partially obscured by a tree. No big deal. Still an amazing view. Food at the restaurant was very good but there wasn't much Costa Rican variety. Pool and the bar were great. My only issue was that they wouldnt exchange any US currency to Costa Rican. Also keep in mind that this resort is about a 20 minute drive from La Fortuna."
