"A beautiful and tranquil b&b. The hosts were so helpful and friendly. It is very hard to get to by public transport if you are hoping to explore lake como but we were picked up from the station and lent bicycles for our stay which was so helpful and made a really nice addition to our holiday (we definitely felt silly for not researching the transport enough before). "First, be aware that you need to follow ALL of the signs that say, “Runchee.” Your GPS/Apple Maps/Google maps will NOT take you to the hotel/B&B. Parking is easy. Find the place is not. Breakfast: if your idea of breakfast is bread and butter, coffee and cake, then you’re in business. Don’t expect a real meal. I paid in advance and the lady running the place chased me down to pay for my stay. Mistakes happen."

The location on the north end of Lake Como and the short distance to transportation to the rest of the lake is awesome. "My wife and I and our 9 month old baby stayed here and the staff were excellent. They were friendly, only too willing to help/offer advice and made a real fuss of our baby! We had a beautiful view from our view and the location was excellent being close to both the ferries and centre of menaggio. We are already planning our next trip!"
