"The hotel is in a great location easily walkable to the Duomo and museums as well as a bus stop (Stuffa Secca) that takes you to / from the Siena train station (although be warned, it's a short but steep climb up the hill from the stop to the hotel). The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is generous and varied. The lobby is beautifully decorated. My room was spacious. When I come back to Siena, I'll try to stay here,"

"This is a beautiful, but old building, with spacious rooms, a and high ceilings. But it is dark. Only one window that does not let in much light. So used our lights a lot. The property is in Trastevere, which is popular and busy, but our room was really quiet. The front desk/proprietor was extremely helpful in making a restaurant reservation and booking a car to the airport."

"Pros: Great location for exploring, super comfortable bed, hot shower. Cons: Parking is difficult if you don't want to pay the 25-30 euros. We parked in the tiniest place in a "lot" that was about a 10 minute walk away and we were extremely lucky to find that "spot". No AC after Oct 1st. The room was pretty warm so we just ended up opening the windows, which helped a lot. The issue then was the noise. Super loud below, with scooters, cars, and pedestrians going by all night. " This hotel is simple & clean & had the most necessary amenities. It is not luxurious but comfortable & the qualities below explain why we would happily stay there again. It is a perfectly located hotel within a couple hundred meters from dozens of great cafes & restaurants, numerous shops & some of the most iconic & historically significant sites. There was a photo opportunity every few steps. even the opera was less than half a mile away! The hotel itself is simple...not luxurious but was very comfortable & kept meticulous with the daily maid service. Staff was very friendly, some were very helpful too. Reasonable rates & location make this place a winner for us!"
