"This is a beautiful, but old building, with spacious rooms, a and high ceilings. But it is dark. Only one window that does not let in much light. So used our lights a lot. The property is in Trastevere, which is popular and busy, but our room was really quiet. The front desk/proprietor was extremely helpful in making a restaurant reservation and booking a car to the airport."

"Not real easy to get to but drivers know how to get within 50 feet The hotel is right on the main walking street so can get noisy if the college age students are out Walking to anything in the city is fast and is worth a visit as there are plenty of nice restaurants. 1-2 day stay place Front desk helpful and don’t miss the breakfast buffet "

"Pros: Great location for exploring, super comfortable bed, hot shower. Cons: Parking is difficult if you don't want to pay the 25-30 euros. We parked in the tiniest place in a "lot" that was about a 10 minute walk away and we were extremely lucky to find that "spot". No AC after Oct 1st. The room was pretty warm so we just ended up opening the windows, which helped a lot. The issue then was the noise. Super loud below, with scooters, cars, and pedestrians going by all night. "This hotel is on a slop behind central bus and railway station and close to shopping. It could be a bit tricky to get into the city center, but once it is figured out, it is pretty easy. It combines both the benefits of convenience and quietness for me. It may be a bit issue for people who have a lot of luggages or elderly travelers as it requires a bit uphill walking. The hotel service is excellent, the staff was really friendly and professional. They also provided helpful information of cooking classes I was looking for; the breakfast was freshly prepared, cappuccino was so yummy! The bed and sheets are high quality and clean! Overall, the service and ambience is super, I am beyond satisfied. "

"Great location, walkable from the train station. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. First night we got a room by the elevator, and it was very loud. Asked the desk to be moved and they happily moved my wife and I to a very quiet room. I would recommend this hotel. Great location, very clean, and excellent staff. "
