"One night stop over on a whistle-stop tour around Sardinia for seven days. Lovely, well kept, tranquil hotel in a very quiet spot in the village. "I always stay at Tarthesh, it’s a unique hotel and the only place worth staying SW Sardinia with easy access to the beaches of Costa verde, but equally good for connecting to the SE131 motorway and easy access to the district city of Oristano. "

"Basic and unmodernised but very good value. Very hard to find but Umberto the owner was very helpful and served a nice breakfast. Very calm and peaceful location. No meaningful restaurants."

"Room was uncomfortably hot. Air con terminal stopped pumping out cold air about 3am and the room became unbearably hot. There was nobody to be found in the hotel and my family of four had to stand outside multiple times in the dark to get some air. We managed to get the kids back to sleep after several hours by placing wet towels on their back. We wanted to complain at check out but there was still nobody to be seen!! A single person who was in the restaurant just told us to leave our key at the...

"L'Abete is a lovely, quiet place. Manager Marco was superb, really a fine, nice person who make me feel welcome and who wanted to be as helpful as he could. I was without a car, and L'Abete is a quarter to a half mile away from the nearest good restaurants and sites. But it was a nice stay; and even better if you want some quiet rest time!"

"A real hidden gem, walking through the town we were then so surprised as we entered the lovely courtyard. Very helpful owners brother who attended us."

"I would rate this 10 stars if I had the option. Amazing experience - beautiful property that was true to Sardinian history and culture - very tastefully and comfortably decorated. Service was extremely friendly and helpful - they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Wine and snacks in the courtyard was so peaceful and enjoyable. If you plan ahead, they can also offer special activities like oil and wine tastings. We chose it because of the good ratings and it was close to Su Naraxi Di Barumini which is a must see site in Sardinia. So glad we did!"

"We had an amazing stay at Villa Corrias. The place was cute, clean and our host Christian was very kind and welcoming. He gave us recommandations about the best places to see, was very proactive and served us very good breakfast each morning. Villa Corrias is only 30 minutes ride from Cagliari, perfect in-between to visit the south-west. We really recommand this place to stay. Thank you for everything again Christian! :)"

A single person who was in the restaurant just told us to leave our key at the front desk and leave. The rooms / bathroom also smelled pretty musty. Not pleasant. If it’s winter and you are not travelling as a family I’m sure this place would do for a night or two but I would never consider this place again with my family."
