"Great central location. Friendly/helpful staff. Annoying that you have to knock on an unassuming door to get in but easy after you figure it out and I guess it’s for security purposes. Would opt out of or not pay for breakfast if that is extra cause it was pretty bland and unexciting. Nice steam sauna though. "

"This property was perfect . You can’t beat the location . Everything within a 10-15 walk . The rooms are huge ! And had amenity.. ( blower, robes, slippers, iron , complimentary water and cookies and great soaps . ) The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The lighting in the room Is very dim . But bathroom light is sufficient for makeup application. And breakfast was great ! Book it !! It’s worth it ! "

"The staff at this hotel were so friendly and very helpful. They made sure that I had the best experience possible. The location of this hotel is perfect, right in the historic city center, easily walkable to so many food options, bars, and meeting spots for tours. I highly recommend staying here! "This is an incredible property on a charming, historic street. Can get noisy on particularly on weekends as it across the street from a nightclub and the horses regularly clomp through, not to mention taxis that have traffic jams and honk. But otherwise it is absolutely incredible and we cannot wait to stay again!"

"Complimentary breakfast included was delicious and filling. The entire staff was friendly and so very accommodating. Beautiful views of the bay and walking distance to some great restaurants and shops. Walking distance to the clock tower entrance to the old city. Water pressure and temperature were my only “complaints” but I like my water hotter than most. This was a great place to stay and I do highly recommend it. "

"I love this hotel so much! It’s beautiful, so comfortable, the staff are so kind and welcoming, the food is so fresh and amazing!!! The rooftop was lovely to have to cool down after mornings walking around the walled city, which you must do if you stay here because you’re smack in the middle!!! It’s amazing, my boyfriend and I loved it so much, we booked the King Superior room and it was lovely! I was in awe each time we came back to our hotel, I’m huge on nature and architecture and this hotel has both! Mucho Gracias Hotel Santa Catalina I will be back!:)"

"I really enjoyed my stay at Santuario Getsemaní Hostel. The mixed dorms were the most private I have experiances yet with walls on behind you and to either side and an adjustable blind at the front. Each bed has a small lock box inside for valuables, shelves and your own plug socket and light, it felt more like a room than being in a mixed dorm honestly. The room had an AC and fan as well which made my nights very comfortable. Lucia, Mir, Cat and William were very friendly and helped me out with getting involved in activities, organize future transport and make the most of my time in Cartagena. The hostel is also a short walk from cafes, resteraunts and bars/clubs for those looking to enjoy the amazing nightlife, street food or vibrant colours inside the walls. I would highly recommend this hostel."
