Good location. Couldn't park my truck in the cramped garage, and it was a $35 per day charge regardless. The fitted sheets didn't fit the bed properly. Both mattresses worn out and had no support. The towels were like sandpaper. The environment was often noisy, including loud music blasting late at night.

Great property and good breakfast , location is a plus , staff is very friendly and helpful ! My son wasn’t well and they helped us a lot with housekeeping ! Laundry for a family is also a good option. Close to balboa park , downtown and pier and easy access to highway . Parking is available with a charge .

We recently visited and stayed for the weekend with one child, and we have a great experience. The location is great, very clean facilities, including the hotel room itself. We had a great view of the city. And an amazing location. I highly recommend staying here. We also opted for the parking, which was a pretty decent price for the area. The front desk was friendly. And there was also complementary continental breakfast. My only advice is to get there early as some people take advantage and fill their plates, and don’t leave enough for other guests. Overall, recommend, especially for the price.

Staying at Townplace suites was a great experience . The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I felt as if everything was either walkable or within a couple minutes with Uber or Lyft . On weekdays bar is not open that was the only downside . Other than that the room was very comfortable and nice .

Loved my stay! Only thing I didn’t like was that we found food in the microwave after we checked in. Which made me think what else did they miss around the room that wasn’t seen. Other than that it was great.

The breakfast area is way too small. Not enough seating and people are on top of each other. Maybe if they extended the hours that might alleviate the issue. I didn’t feel safe walking after 6:00 PM. The smell of urine is terrible. I would not stay in this part of the city again.

The Staff was excellent. Front desk Errick super attentive. Lady was nice and very helpful (I believe manager) Carpet was wet spot about 1ft by 1ft next to bed. Yuk. Wife and daughter stepped in it. Errick immediately had someone some clean up and cover. (Hotel booked) TV screen in room had bluish hue. Faded needs to be replaced. (Nothing to do with settings) wife noticed cap above sink for overflow full of black stuff. Need to remove grey cap and clean. Breakfast was ok. Hot food was set up for Swiss, English muffin and round sausage "sandwich" only Having eggs, bacon, and sausage in the three hot pans would have been better. That way you can choose the bread, cheese or condiment and absence of bacon was :( Again the staff was great. Nice and helpful. But too many things to point out will reduce likelyhood of staying again.
