It was very close to the San Diego airport , if you have a rental car then it’s very convenient to go around places like La Jolla, Torrey Pines , Sandiego zoo and other local restaurants. We opted for early check in and late check outs , hotel staff was very accommodative and didn’t charge us any. After negotiations parking fee came down to $10 per night . Overall it is okay , we would have enjoyed if we gotten a better room upgrade with garden or bay view in the top floor . Pool was clean and dine in Resturant was very nice as well

Great location and direct access to the lawn/park for walking. Allows dogs. Clean and spacious suites. Hotel is dated but still clean. Parking is a challenge.

Convenient location, staff was ok, except for this one restaurant manager that took care of us, super firendly to us as a family and was just so kind to our daughter. I didnt get his name but he was behind the bar. Just an amazing asset for this hotel. Room was ok, even the upgrade, but overall ok.

The property is unique with beautiful landscape and paths. Very convenient and offers opportunities for water sports, kayaking and biking around. One pool was closed which I knew once I got there. The cleaning lady did an amazing job everyday, and so did the ladies at the front desk. The thing I wish was better is the breakfast, first the price and the limited choices. We only had it once ( cost 59$ for two!). Overall, the Dana on mission bay is a beautiful destination with breathtaking views.
