Every area of the Lafayette is so picturesque from the moment you step foot inside and out. The lobby, the lobby bar, the restaurants, the pool area, the bowling center, the room itself. I will definitely be returning.

The hotel is amazing and stunning! Love the bars, restaurant, and cleanliness. However, my room didn't have a trashcan at all. One of the lamps was out and with the room already being dim, it made a different when I needed more light at night. Pool bartender was very slow, she asked me what I wanted, turned around and started talking to what seemed like off duty coworkers and forgot my order. Then 15 minutes she came back and asked what I wanted. I told her she'd already asked and she asked me to tell her again because she'd forgotten it. That kinda threw me off. The ice situation when my room was so far away, was a turnoff for sure. I was on my robe and would like to make a drink while getting ready to go out but there was no way I had time to put clothes on, go get ice, come back, make a drink, and finish getting ready. It would be nice if even if they don't change the bedding, that someone could at least make it, especially when we're in town for business and gone all day working events, we just want to get back to a freshened up hotel room. I'll be back in a month because I already have a reservation, but I hope things are better then.

The place was beautiful and very well thought out as far as the vibes go. However, many details Or left out. There was no trashcan in the room and the open concept bathroom made it seem very jailhouse. The entire bathroom floor was soaking so you couldn’t take a shower and then get ready. There is no mirror other than the one above the sink. Not very practical.

Property is beautiful. BUT not for a family that wants a peaceful get away. You will be up till midnight hearing doors slamming, people yelling, and loud music all night. Also dont mind sharing the hotel you paid for because people off the street can buy a day pass and will take up every open seat/bar area until who knows when. Also get to the pool by 6:15… AM or youre not getting a seat anywhere. our room had boiling hot water or freezing cold water no in between while showering . In all honesty this place is not a go to or ever will be unless policy changes or they create space for only staying guest so people off the street have limited access. Besides that the bed is great. The shower was dirty with previous guest hair which the staff did come to clean but how disgusting. The diner was mediocre with breakfast being great but lunch service was horrendous for instance the hostess putting menus on an empty table but not giving us any while walking directly past us… not offering water or anything. So dont go here unless you want a headache and regret from overspending at this shack

Very cool hotel friendly staff the pool was amazing... until several young children, and their parents showed up, at which time i said to my girlfriend we could have done this at our condo pool and saved $500 we left
