When I booked it, it was a Hilton property. To my Suprise when I arrived there was a name change and it was now a Marriot, and they were remodeling. Suffice it to say it was not a very pleasant stay

This hotel was in the most ideal location! Firstly it is steps away from the vibrant Little Italy area that is full of restaurants and music. It is also in good proximity to transportation (trolleys, bus stops) that can take you to the main tourist spots (zoo, balboa park, gaslamp quarter, la jolla). The hotel was clean and the staff was very nice. The gym was clean and had great machine options for a hotel. I did not use the outdoor space but it did have a spacious outdoor patio with a pool and hot tub. Highly recommend this hotel!!

Location was great! Little Italy conveniently close. Downtown nightlife not a far drive away. The minor inconvenience was the ice machine on our floor didn't work and the fridge in our room also didn't work.

A good property, but the garage was a nightmare to exit. Because the exit was so difficult to navigate we try to limit how much we took out our car which then limited how much we could do :(
