"I went to San Diego on a solo yolo 5 day get away while my husband fished in Mexico. I stayed in a suite with a view of the marina. The shower grout and tile needed to be cleaned. The color was a pink hew of mildew; bathroom door frames were stained with red marks, looked like blood; pillow case had a noticeable stain; housekeeping didn’t replace ice bucket plastic cover; didn’t replace black cosmetic face towels and small white towels even though the dirty towels were on the floor."

"This is an old motel. However, the owners have made it super clean and comfortable. They have a nice product line in the bathroom, a comfy bed, and soft cotton sheets. I have been booking a room instead of using Lyft/Uber after a night out and 45 minutes from home. This is a great find for a reasonably priced (under the round-trip Lyft price) motel. The staff at night and then in the morning is friendly and very service-oriented."
