There were stains on the floor and walls, only one knife one spoke one fork and one teaspoon and the cups, plates hadn’t been washed and were sticky, plus there were no bowls just plates! On the first night I complained about the smell in the flat which didn’t really get sorted and the next morning we had our first showers in the room. "Excellent location, right in the heart of Lavenham, stands this beautiful, authentic cottage. Perfect accommodation for a family or two couples as there are two toilets and two well resourced communal living. The kitchen and laundry room were very well equipped and made our stay very comfy. The only area for improvement was the check-out time of 10:00 am on a Sunday morning (with a van load of cleaners eating outside to enter the property) this made our departure feel rushed. "

However the lodge is damp and the heating is wholly inadequate, the macerator in the shower room had leaked under the laminate floor and was still leaking on my arrival.The property was a health hazard. It smelled damp and was cluttered with unnecessary furniture (large sofa foot stool, 4 armchairs, 4chairs, fridge freezer & non working fridge, for a double room).
