"Lovely hotel. Room was absolutely boiling so I’m glad I bought a fan. Breakfast was delicious. Room a little small for 2 people and I didn’t like the adjoining door that opened out onto the corridor. "

"The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food. Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopes"

"What a gem! We were looking for a place to stay on the Isle of Wight and could not be more pleased for choosing Rylstone Manor. The proprietors, Carole and Mike, were gracious and welcoming offering many suggestions what to do, see and eat during our short two night, three day visit. The Manor is stunning and lovingly maintained. We highly recommend Rylstone Manor and only wish we could have stayed longer."
