"Lovely historic property, a very quiet and pleasant stay. Dog was allowed in our room only, not to eat. Very comfortable bed and warm room. No fridge in the room, but had tea and coffee facilities, you had to ask daily for milk. Close to plenty of sightseeing and rambling. Hotel also provides fly fishing in season, so will return for this, as perfect by the River Derwent. "
