"Excellent location in the city center of Rovaniemi. The hotel itself is rather functionally furnished, but offers all the amenities which a traveller might need. The breakfast is excellent and prepares you well for a day of exploration in Lapland. The friendly staff is an enormous asset - they helped us a few times with taxi bookings and even helped us to find an intercity bus schedule. "Swimming pool was freezing (too cold to be useable) and areas of the hotel were worn/in need of renovation. Main single beds in room were very comfortable, but sofa bed was awful and has left me with a very painful back. That said, staff were friendly, location was good and breakfast was good. "

"Very conveniently located guesthouse (3 minute walk to train station/bus terminus for Santa Claus Village, 3 minutes to a supermarket, 10 minutes to the edge of downtown). The rooms were small but warm and clean. A kitchen is available for use, and so is laundry (7 Euros). The breakfast was included but not remarkable. The front desk staff gave very good directions. Wifi worked well too."
