"Lovely place, our room was a great size with a huge bed, fridge, microwave, oven, hob, cutlery and crockery. Great view overlooking the main road, fab for people watching. There was a smokey smell in our bathroom but thats not the fault of the hotel, previous guests not respecting the rules, it wasnt bad enough to complain but I've read they are very accommodating if a guest isn’t happy. Being from rural area it was difficult understanding security but destails were very good, just our lack of ability. I did get locked in bathroom at 3 a.m. as when I tried to get out as the lock fell out of the door handle. "The rooms are spacious and very clean. For a contactless stay, the owner was very communicative (the check-in video is very helpful) and he responded quickly. We arrived late, after an 8 hour drive, and then left early, so I can’t speak to anything beyond that it was a pleasant place to spend the night and the owner is great."

"This apartment is big and equipped with most of facilities you need. There are co-op and store in gas station nearby. Highly recommend it to those planning a family trip. "

"Communication was bad as we had to chase 3 times for a reply to our messages and didnt receive info on how to enter bldg. I was told we would receive in 10 mins when I rang but didnt receive so had to call again. All floors were stained and grubby so had to wear shoes at all times. Sofa was delaminating and old, cups were not all clean. Bed sheets were clean though but rest of apartment was tired and needs a deep clean. No parking a available as advertised, there is a NCP a couple of doors away...

"Great location, very clean and well presented. Excellent shower. Was pleased to have some basics provided such as milk and beverages also choice of cereals for breakfast. On a busy road therefore road noise as traffic builds in the early morning. "

"The location was perfect for my trip. I travelled to Nottingham by train for an event at the Motorpoint arena. The Ibis is about 5 minutes walk from the Motorpoint, and less than 10 minutes from the train station. The hotel is exactly what I've come to expect from Ibis - clean, comfortable room and friendly, helpful staff. I would reccomend this property for anyone needing a hotel in the area"

"Brilliant hotel, clean, accessible and the layout of the rooms is absolutely amazing. Massive thank you to the check in assistant, she picked up on the Welsh accent straight away and remembered me from a previous visit when I remembered she was from Bridgend - made me feel so welcome so please make sure she’s recognised well, she deserves it "
