"My partner and I came to visit Alnwick for her birthday, and after a previous stay at a Premier Inn, we decided we wanted something with more character. The Hog’s Head Inn is a really lovely hotel, and considering it broke ground in 2011, has a feeling of being built in the 1800s, with the wood and stone decor in the main bar area. "It was a pleasant stay after visiting Alnwick Gardens. The room was about average size but walk up on third floor. The room was clean and as usual air conditioning was provided by opening the window. Parking is available but not for the faint of heart if you are not used to driving in the UK.
