We had an issue with our bathroom and the staff attended to our needs immediately. Fabulous food, the standard and quality was high end at affordable prices. Would definitely visit Seahouses again, and stay at The Olde Ship Inn. Would recommend to others."

"The check-in was quick, seamless and the lass on reception was friendly, welcoming and helpful, telling us everything we needed and asking if we had any food allergies. The room was clean, no marks, dust, well presented and had all the amenities we required. "We enjoyed our recent stay here. The room was excellent with a spotless new bathroom and comfortable bed. Better pillows would have been nice but not a problem for a short stay. The food was very good but the service rather slow. We weren't in any hurry but 30-40 minutes to produce breakfast after ordering seemed a bit excessive. Staff were all very friendly and helpful so positive overall."

"This was an inspired booking through Hotels.com. We had an excellent room (Lapwing), which gave us a lot of space. The weather was fantastic (snow on the beaches, zero temperatures and clear skies - excellent for walking)."

"Had a lovely short break at the Cottage Inn, excellent location within walking distance of Craster and in a central position on the Northumberland Coast. Good base for anyone travelling in the area. The hotel has a real "pub feel" to it which we enjoyed as the locals were in the bar each evening which made a good atmosphere. Will certainly return"

"Room was nice but very very hot and uncomfortable at points during night. Breakfast was disappointing as breakfast stotties ordered and one was cold and the other was half empty. Also coffee machine was not working and it was noted to make americano but it was very watery and they wouldn’t provide a caffietere or pot of tea which they used to. Service at this point was disappointing as they noted they didn’t want to make the coffee. "

"Quirky place with antiques and gift shop on site. Loved the big bath in our room, and relaxing beside the open fire in the communal lounge in the evening. Really peaceful despite proximity to A1. Host recommended excellent place for dinner and taxi company to transport us."

"Luxurious hotel with beautiful rooms. Bed was super comfortable and huge. Gorgeous immaculately clean bathroom with rainfall shower and free standing bath. Leigh was so welcoming, helpful and professional. The Bistro staff were also great. Lovely breakfast selection. Great location. Lots to do and see nearby."

Lovely Host and Room

"The host is very kind and brings a breakfast tray to order at an agreed time. The building is old and quirky with wonky floors, stairs etc, but decorated nicely and perfectly clean and functional. Good hot water pressure in the shower, even on the top floor. Parking was no problem while we were there, with the permit provided, but note the nearest parking bays are a short 2 minute walk away from the rooms, spaces are not specifically allocated and the public can park there (with restrictions). We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay there again on our next visit."
