"The hotel is on a square in a lovely part of town, with free parking available on the square and a street back too. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a small pool and space to lounge in the sun. The rooms were very clean and the electric blinds kept out the sun brilliantly. "My husband and I spent our honeymoon here, and it was truly delightful. We were welcomed warmly and treated to lots of special touches, including lemonade at check in and chocolates at bedtime. The owner is amazingly gracious and gave us a detailed tour of the house, which is a real treat for anyone interested in historic homes. It's beautifully maintained with a spectacular garden and pool--plus the cutest chocolate labrador named Mel."

"The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room was nice, but perhaps a little dated. There was no shower cubicle but a shower attachment over the bath which was tricky to position and did not appear to be thermostatically controlled so the water temp varied.
