"Amazing hotel. Renovated modern within the old building. Sitting on the castle grounds but hot within the castle walls. Easy access to the city center and the castle itself, which is amazing. For those who want to explore the surroundings, Weilburg and its castle is close by, the Kubacher Tropfsteinhoehle is a great attraction during the summer and all is close from this hotel. "Close to altstadt. wish they told me their lovely would be closed for a private dinner before I showed up and Thomas curtly turned me away away and would not suggest where I might go instead, but the manager who welcomed me initially, she was cool, and the place was otherwise perfect for my needs."

"The hotel was amazing, great location, accessible to a bus line and amazing neighborhood grocery store, and local restaurants. The hotel was extremely clean, the breakfast was amazing with a variety of food options each day. I am vegetarian and the food was fresh. Most importantly all of the staff was remarkable and the cost was reasonable. I would strongly recommend this hotel if you are in the Gießen area."

"The hotel looks like a tiny hamlet of old farm buildings which have recently been renovated. A definite rustic feel to it. Parking is 100 m in front of the hamlet. Hotels.com failed to list this hotel as having a restaurant. As such I ate junk food on the way to the hotel, only to find the perfect restaurant for me. I made space for a delicious salmon salad and wonderful glass of Riesling! The room was good and I slept very well. The only missing utility which I always need as a business traveller, was a desk. I suspect, this would also effect females needing a dressing table. I was shown an alternative room with a tiny glass table. Anyway, it didn't spoil my stay. Wonderful staff. Not too expensive. Great hotel and I would definitely stay again."
