"Comfortable, clean, convenient. The only problem I had is that there were a lot of fruit flies in my room when I first arrived. I found the source, an area on the door jamb near the bathroom. I wet some bathroom tissue and wiped it down and they were no longer a problem. An unusual situation so I cannot hold it against the property. No coffee available in the room or at the kitchen. But this seems to be typical in Spanish hotels. "

"This hotel was a good stop along the Camino because it is self contained. It has 2 restaurants which are quite good and lots of lounge area for the guests. Our room came with breakfast which we liked because it had a good variety of choices. It was quiet at night and we would definitely stop there again if in the area even if luxurious it is not!"

"oh my God what a hidden gem. this place is incredible. the moment you pull up and open your car door, the wonderful smell of eucalyptus hits your nose and immediately feel at ease. the owner and her husband were extremely nice, accommodating, caring, and just overall great human beings dedicated to the hospitality business. "Well located property just steps from the Cathedral. The apartment was clean and attractive. Nicely decorated with lots of windows with shutters worked well for both security and room darkening. Kitchen is a little minimalist but functional for breakfast and simple meals. Super clean and spacious bathroom. Comfortable 4 night stay."

"This was perfect home to stay Santiago! Very new and clean, what ever you needed at home here has everything even very new. Bed was clean and comfortable, clean and tidy interior. They have a washer and dryer in the building free to use. It was very nice after long walk to Camino. Highly recommended! "

"what a charming hotel. five stars in every category except one- which they are aware of and inform you of in advance. Since the hotel is in a pedestrian only section of town you've got to park the cxar and carry your bags. Not a terrible thing. Yet- on this same trip we encountered a similar situation in Porto only this hotel would send someone to meet you and bring in your bags. The Rua Vilar might think about it. Everything else is exceptional and the luggage lugging didn't dampen our spirits....

"Unfortunately, we didn’t check to see that the pool was available to guests without a reservation. Seems strange that they highlighted photos of the pool but you have to make a reservation and pay a fee to use the pool, for a limited time. The pool and hot tub are within the Spa. Breakfast, the lounge and bar areas are beautiful, warm and friendly. This place is not within walking distance of the town and taxi services are limited.
