"This property was so perfect for our Tuscany stay! The rooms are decorated beautifully, the grounds are gorgeous and it was just. Few minutes from Montepulciano, perfect for day trips. "We were initially uncertain about booking here due to some negative online comments; however, very happy we did! it would be difficult to pristinely maintain the property as it is historic and quite large, so if you’re looking for something with every modern amenity, this is not the stay for you. However, the property is a gorgeous setting and the buildings are quaint and charming. Our room was very spacious - a bit of noise transfer through the bathroom. Pool area is beautiful! "It is a sort of tower. Under-lighted. Nice. Strange. Management (nice young woman) next door in a wine shop. She’s very helpful. You are kind of on your own in many ways. All uphill from the train station, so leaving is easy. You don’t have to fight gravity when returning to the station."

This lady is a big bonus to this hotel.The air-conditioning is building controlled,which would not suit everyone.The cleaner for our area had poor attention to detail.
