"The hotel is modern, clean, spacious, and well laid out. Only negatives was the room had lots of space but lacking in furnishing (table and chairs), The hot water took some time to reach the faucet head, the hot food at breakfast was not hot (cool eggs, cold sausage and containers that held salsa and such empty. We came to breakfast about half way through the meal time."

"We decided to stay at Palm Garden while we were evacuating from the wildfires near our area. All of the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. We were able to keep our dog with us for the time we had stayed which was very helpful as we didn’t want to leave her at a nearby shelter. "We spent one night at the Hummingbird on Jan 8, 2025. Unfortunately, the power was out in part of the town of Ojai, and this included the Hummingbird Inn. The hotel staff had no control over this, but made the best of a bad situation. We were given a flashlight, electric candles, and they had the firepit outside going as well as the indoor fireplace in the lobby. We brought our dinner in there and ate by firelight!
