"Haka house is a very easy choice for financial savings with clean bedding. On the flip side, there is no monitoring of how the kitchen area is maintained during/after use. It’s obvious that the “children” are not monitored to be sure they clean up after themselves. I would expect an hostel to have some type of policy in place during busy kitchen hours. Every kitchen use required avoiding someone’s mess that was left behind. "

"The main point was how helpful Alice was beforehand. I had to change the booking but couldnt with Expedia and Alice did it all and responded within minutes to all my emails. Great service. The place is great and lots of little thoughtful things to make a great stay. My only advice would be to ask for a room away from the road. The lorries start early."
