"After a horrible hotel stay, we were so relieved to find this amazing home in the west of Puerto Rico. It was everything we hoped for immaculately clean, cozy, and felt just like home. The space was thoughtfully set up, making it easy to settle in and truly enjoy our time. The location was also perfect not too far from everything but peaceful enough to fully take in the local vibe. If you want to experience what living in Puerto Rico’s west side is really like, this spot is definitely a vibe....

"The property is across the narrow and somewhat busy road from what looked like a nice beach. Unfortunately our property was protected by iron gates and fence and the empty area across the street had a chain link fence protecting it. That said, it was comfortable, if a little spartan, and folks drove elsewhere to the beach. What was really great was the nearby waterfront restaurant Valmar, where we enjoyed a spectacular sunset meal. "

They also communicated through whatsapp which also felt scammy. We finally got on the same page via email and text and they ran my credit card for payment. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa del Lago. The house was spacious and comfortable and the porch was wonderful. Fortunately it was cool and there was no need for air-conditioning. The units included in each room need repairs made to vent system. We found it to be centrally located to every where we visited. Would love to come back again and stay there. Enjoyed watching the horses and garzas in the yard.This house is truly a GEM nestled in the mountains of Adjuntas. "
