"The staff is very friendly and made it enjoyable to stay. We walked to the restaurants and shops. Even tho a lot of shops and restaurants were closed during our stay in January it was still very enjoyable. It was peaceful and quiet with very few people around. Definitely a great getaway from all of the chaos of everyday life. "

"The only thing I could complain about, which is not a big deal, is parking. It is very tight. Overall experience was cery nice. Beds were very comfy, even the pullout! "

"Nice room. Easy to get too. Pet friendly!! My only negative comment would be regarding the “after hours” phone number. We had a toilet issue, had water on the floor, and the only number given was for lockout service, otherwise leave a message. Went to office right when they opened in the morning and a service person was there in under an hour to take care of it. But we worried all night about the need to use the toilet. Would definitely go back. "

"Was very disappointed in our room. We’ve been staying at the lodge for more than a decade and this room did not have a jacuzzi bath tub, even though every single other time we’ve stayed there we’ve had one. Also, the new floors were very unwelcoming and not cozy/homey. We love everything about the Scandinavian lodge otherwise, we’re just very disappointed in that particular room. No outlets on the sides of the bed to charge phones. "

"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in a two room suite that had everything we needed. A lot of old world charm. Spent time in the great room adjacent to the lobby. It had comfortable seating,games, books and a nice fireplace. It would be a great place for a family reunion."
