"Our apartment was well equipped (with plenty of cooking utensils for our short stay), clean and modern. It was a good size for the 3 of us, had comfortable beds, was a good temperature and we had a view of the sea! Check-in was super easy with a keypad code to get in the building, the lift and the door of the apartment. "Parking was a challenge. I love that the apartment sits right outside the main strip with great bars, shopping and restaurants within walking distance. However, the locals and tourists party until 2AM so noise was definitely an issue when trying to sleep. However, the noise was not a deal breaker and would definitely stay at this property on my next visit. "

"This apartment is a gem!! It is located beside “bus stop 12” and we were picked up there for all of our excursions so extremely convenient. The apartment itself was perfect for our party of 3 and it had everything we needed for our stay. We took a short walk to a grocery store and made quite a few meals in the well stocked kitchen. The washer and dryer were a bonus! I highly recommend!!!"

"Perfect Holiday Apartment - Can honestly say we couldn't fault the aoqrtment - Clean, Warm in a good area, comfortable beds . A traveler's dream . To make it perfect would be the chance to have a few items like Milk, Fruit juice, water - . put in the fridge for arrival a welcome pack could be an added extra which would of helped massively - "

"Really good location, right in the center. It’s tiny but also cheap, so that is fine. The only thing we disliked was that we didn’t know the emergency exit was going through our room and that meant we had emergency lights on 24/7 and they were extremely bright which made it hard to sleep. We would have brought sleep masks if we had known! The bathroom was a little messily renovated, but clean."

"I would rate it more than 5 stars because of the staff. They were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. I want to particularly complement Ewa at the reception desk on 3/8/2025. I originally reserved a transfer to KEF airport at 1pm with a transfer bus service company. I had to leave early that day. The bus transfer company refused to change my transfer to an earlier pick up which I understood. After Ewa found out my problem, she volunteered to contact the bus company on my behalf, and was able to change it for me. Many thanks to Ewa!! "The Reykjavik Edition is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. For my first time in Iceland it was an unforgettable experience and the hotel was just as amazing as the country itself! The staff there were unreal and so accommodating, I've never felt more taken care of! The amenities are top notch and the location is an ideal base to explore Reykjavik as well as the rest of Iceland. I am so thankful I chose this hotel and would easily recommend it to anyone traveling to Iceland as the customer care is unparalleled! Skol to all the lovely people I met at the edition! "
