"Such a quaint property in a historic home turned into a b & b. The living room and kitchen were such welcoming spaces with beautiful art pieces on the wall and bookcases. The room we stayed in was pretty small, luckily the warmness of the owner and the common spaces made us feel taken care of and at home. "

The central restroom facilities offered men's and women's sides with 2 bathroom stalls and 2 shower stalls in each. Esjan was well located between Borgarnes and Reykjavik."

"Very small room, but we had everything we need for our stay, very clean, convenient location close to the beautiful church where all the tours take their start, walkable to the center of the city and bus station. We are very thankful that we could leave our luggage before the check-in and after check-out in the hotel."

"We liked the location of this rental. It was near downtown without being too noisy. The home itself was a bit worn down, but it did what we needed it to do for the most part, and it wasn't as expensive as many other options. Not much in the way of kitchen facilities. We liked having 3 separate bedrooms for everyone to have their own space. They were also very helpful getting back an item of clothing that we left behind. "
