"The resort was beautiful and clean. The restaurants were very good. We at at the Japanese hibachi restaurant and it was delicious!!! Steak house was good, sports bar was convenient and had very good food options.Yhe buffet we at for breakfast and brunch and was not bad. Lots of options at the buffet and most tasted good. Pools were fantastic never crowded and always able to get a chair and drinks were served with a smile. Events people were fun and engaging. The beach was a short walk which was nice. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas and having the boats and paddle boards to take out was fun. The o my negative things I will say about the resort is that workers/salesmen can be pushy and annoying from day 1 they want to set you up for a sales pitch. We just told them straight not interested and learned to walk by head down and say no thank you they do stand around the buffet and it’s annoying but if you just say no and keep walking you get used to it. The other thing about the beach is that the ocean is closed off so the nice part is it’s calm no waves and can just wade and float but if you want to go deep or have fun in the waves this beach won’t be for you. Overall we loved this resort. It had everything the larger resorts have but we loved how centrally located everting was. We felt safe walking around and letting our teens go off in their own. From the restaurants, the pools, our rooms and the beach all were almost seeable from the balcony. It was clean safe and had everything"

"We had a wonderful stay at Majestic Colonial. We upgraded to the colonial club adults only and it was definitely worth it! Our butler, Enrique took care of us all week and we really liked the wrist bands which granted access to our room, so we never had to worry about a room key! There are plenty of food options at the buffets and we enjoyed all of the restaurants too. Our only dislike was the amount of cigarette smoking on the property (there were not designated areas, so people lit up at pool, outdoor bars, everywhere!) but we are not smokers so that is why we minded it so much. Overall had an excellent stay and would stay again. "
