"Very pleasantly surprised! EXCELLENT spot for a Bay Area overnight/weekend. We came for a Friday Giants game and stayed here because of the price and proximity to the ferry to the ballpark. We couldn’t get tickets for the ferry (😢) but staying at this place made that disappointment a bit lighter. Amazing how no hotel stress can make other kinks easier to manage. Sure, the “bay” view is the empty marina and The San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport, but that actually was part of the fun. Plenty of water fowl and arriving/departing planes to watch. The airport activity was audible but not loud or disruptive at all. I really enjoyed a couple of cups of coffee, a couple of Js and the departing planes at sunrise. The bed and pillows were some of the best I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Comfortable, clean and perfect height for a lil backside boogie. The fridge and tv were even nice. Overall, for the price, probably THE best we’ve stayed in for a Bay Area overnighter. We will most certainly be back but next time we’ll get the Ballpark Ferry tickets way in advance. "
