"Really lovely stay. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The dining areas were well decorated and the food was delicious. Some of the areas are closed off but this didn't materially alter my stay as I wouldn't have been using the pool anyway. I would definitely stay again, and hope to do so. Beautiful views, and pleasant walks to surrounding towns."

"Fantastic overnight stay in the Bollinger room - with the most comfortable bed imaginable. We ate in the pub in the evening and got talking to the owner about Huddersfield pigeons and their (lack of) merits. Food brilliant - we chose a chicken and a lamb dish. Beautiful. Mediterranean cheesecake - pesto jus with olives and roasted tomatoesit it was not. Turns out it was Dark Fruit Berries !!! Super flavour. And sticky toffee pudding to die for ! "Fabulous stay at The White Swan Inn for two nights. Lovely area and only 30 minutes from Whitby along the most amazing road. Hotel was everything we had hoped for, friendly, cozy, great restaurant, bar and atmosphere. Lovely fires welcomed you back after a chilly day.
