"Wonderful hotel which really suited us. We wanted easy access, great parking, apartment facilities, access to Ravenna's sites and the local area and it exceeded in all of these. The staff were so very helpful directing us to local stuff - buses, free bikes, shops etc. ok, it was a reasonable walk into the centre of town but we did it most days and it was no problem - you could always drive, take the bus or cycle. Our week was too short with so many things to see in the area. We would go back. "

"The shower is litarlly next to the toilet without any shower curtains. Also the rooms has no airconditioning, which can be bad in hot summernight. Otherwise the room was fine!"

"La Basilica is good value option for a Ravenna stay since the choice of hotels within the city is not large or enticing. Our room looked across to San Vitale but in a very quiet street with no vehicle traffic.Shops,restaurants and bars are a street or two away - our favourite being Trattoria Persico around the corner.There is no breakfast on site,however,vouchers being provided for coffee and pastries at the popular pasticceria in Via Salari, and the shower/toilet etc is a wet room (which does...
