Lovely as usual
"Lovely stay as usual. Love The Lakes hotel. Wonderful food and service. Gorgeous room and hot tub. Sadly the bed needed replacing- room138 and could feel the springs of the mattress- neither of us slept well."

"A lovely one night stay at The Windermere Hotel. Really nice staff and a lovely bed to rest your head after a day out in Bowness for drinks and a meal. Very decent breakfast too. Hotel might need a little ‘love’ but I’d definitely stay there again"

"Had a wonderful weekend away and this little gem is in the heart of the centre which is great. Very compact&quite small but very cute. Parked car opposite on paid carpark. Really enjoyed the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway trip up to Boot and back. Impressed by the small size of the village yet there were three pub/eating places and a small village shop! Potential for nice walks especially at low tide.
