"This is the Best Hotel in Lake Thun in overall. Good money value, Fantastic lake view w/balcony Clean room, Immaculate shared kitchen, Friendly services, Plenty of parking spaces, Simple but tasteful breakfast (Specially top graded coffee) We stayed 2 nights and all those above factors forced us to come back to stay another night on the way back. By the time we arrived our check-in email from the Guesthouse still had not arrived in our email inbox. This email is the only way in to your room, as it holds the lockbox code which holds your key. "This quaint hotel was perfect and charming. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. It’s a little off the beaten path so if you’re looking for a getaway from the tourists areas, this is a perfect quiet spot with amazing views. Because you are higher up on the mountain, the sun shines brightly on this hotel. I visited some of the other hotels nearby and doing the staff to be quite rude. Would definitely recommend this hotel over others in the area. "

"What a horrible experience! It took us almost an hour to drive there, only to find out that the owl "made a mistake" and did not have a room for us. "Great spot to get away from it all. Wonderful hiking trails, we hired e-bikes from reception to explore the area. The hot-pot (jacuzzi) was top, you need to book a slot with reception which means you have it just for your group which was great. The restaurant and bar were great quality and all staff very friendly. Can't wait to go back!"

"Overall it was an okay stay. We initially got lost trying to find the checkin. It is NOT in the back of the hotel as described in our welcome email. You checkin in on the main level in the building right next door to the parking. We went up and down stairs trying to find the checkin and there are parts of the hotel (the downstairs storage) that were sketch. Our room was actually pretty decent and clean.
