"We only stayed one night. Check-in was simple and easy, The staff were all very friendly. The property is gorgeous and unique. Weather was really rainy and wet, so we didn't get to explore too much around the outside of the property. Our room was exactly as described and quiet, however, the walls are somewhat thin and you can hear other guests but not in a horrible way. It's more like a comfortable home rather than a hotel. The dining room was lovely, dinner was nice and the included breakfast was delicious. Delicious! It's a really neat area and we left the next morning to go straight to the volcano so everything was convenient and scenic."

"This is a little dated, but not in a bad way. It felt very in place with the jungle all around us. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating! And the breakfast each morning was some of the best meals we had on the entire trip "

"We absolutely loved this spot! It’s really hard to know which is the best when looking online, but we would say this is one of your best options if the following are considerations: 1) value - the cost vs value is certainly there. This is a very affordable yet very clean and comfortable hotel. We were very impressed. 2) Breakfast was included! Breakfast each morning was served. Eggs, Bacon, Pancakes and Fruits + Coffee and Juice. They were willing to accommodate/adjust the meal how you liked. You could request items not to be included if you had an allergy, and you could also ask for a little extra of something. Again, the value is 100% here. 3) Location - only a couple blocks from the Main Street. Close to grocery stores where you can buy very reasonably priced fruits, coconuts, etc. Great coffee shops and treats like ice cream close by. The other great thing about this location is it’s quiet at night. No loud music, you could hear the animals and are still close enough to all amenities. 4) view/amenities - view was superb and grounds are well maintained and lush. Volcano is right in view each morning. Pool is great for a cool down. I would say only big enough for one family at a time, but didn’t seem to be an issue during our stay. Free parking. 4) Service - very good. The people who work hear are gems. Very helpful, will do their best to assist and recommend items to get you a better deal. "

"I loved absolutely everything about this hotel! It’s beautiful, the pathways to walk around the hotel are the best I’ve ever seen, and the layout is accessible for anyone. The playground, hot springs, animals, farm, pools, and reception area make it easy to plan a day just staying at the hotel. The staff was exceptionally helpful from getting the TV to play American shows in English, to steaming a complimentary carafe of milk for me to have with my in-room coffee, to helping point out a sloth in the trees near their onsite farm, to exchanging our pool towels as many times as we asked. The rooms were very comfortable with bathrobes, umbrellas, and toiletries. The food was delicious and the staff let us order off the lunch menu for dinner when we wanted. The shrimp fried rice was sooo good! The hot springs were especially nice-- we literally had them all to ourselves for majority of our stay. I have never stayed at the same hotel twice, but I will definitely stay here again!"

"The staff was amazing! They had a culture of service and exceeding expectations. When checking in, I wandered over to the concierge desk jokingly stating that “I wanted to see a sloth” The young lady suggested that they were most active in the morning by the main pool. Shortly after checking into our room I received a call from the same lady saying they know where there is one and offered to pick us up in the room and take us there. They did just that. What a great experience. A great resort, with great rooms and excellent service. Mitch and Cindi"
