I was at The Dairy twice. 3 nights before my Routeburn Track and 2 nights after. It's one of the loveliest places I have stayed at. Excellent staff, comfortable bed, 24 hour access to tea, coffee and snacks, as part of stay. A happy hour between 5 and 6 p.m. and decor that is subtle, yet warm. A 2 minute walk down to the heart of Queenstown. - super convenient to everything. I highly recommend The Dairy.

This hotel is not cheap, the location is great. Cleanliness is good, but unfortunately because it’s an old building, the walls are thin, and the people in the adjoining room felt the need to play the television full volume in the middle of the night and when I texted the on-call manager, nobody responded.

Convenient and quaint
Great location for first visit to Queenstown. Just a few minutes to ski bus and Orbus to and from airport. Hot tub was the best part.

Wonderful small boutique hotel
Cosy clean boutique hotel with friendly staff. Comfortable room with amenities you’d expect. Excellent location, just 3 minute walk from the main centre and main pick up points for most tours & ski trips. Happy hour in the evening with bar snacks, wine and beer. Heartily recommend.
