"The whole place was very quiet, the bathroom was exceptionally clean as well as the rest of the property. The included breakfast is local food, mostly vegetarian. We like this but if you have to have cereal or other western food this isn't the place for you. Parking is easy too, something that is not common in Taiwan, especially in resort areas."

"Staff been proactive and friendly, also accommodating to our needs. View from our room is amazing, bedding is comfortable and just right. Location is another plus, close to the busy areas and keep away the noises. Breakfast is tasty and they make it different daily. Would love to come back and highly recommend!"

"Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Owner was there greeting and chatting with guests during breakfast. Beach was across the road from the hotel and they provide free shuttle for guests to the night market."

"Beautiful property located 1.5 hr from the Alishan Forest Recreational area. However it is fairly close to Eryanping Trail which is one of the best places to see the sunset. The hosts are very kind and accomodating and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The rooms are very clean and breakfast and dinner (hotpot) were both delicious. Highly recommend giving this place a try"

"We really enjoyed our 3nights at Top Cloud Villa. The premise is serene; give us a sense of calmness and tranquility compare to our busy city life. Morning breakfast was charming and wholesome. We enjoy our daily walk enjoying the cool breeze the morning and evening sunset above the clouds. Staff was friendly and always eager to assist with any enquiries anytime. We might visit again! "The place is not easy to find, the address lead to a cafe place which is right on the corner, but to find the B&B you need to go further on the left side, when you see a white door, please ring the bell and wait for the waitress! The stay was really pleasant, we stayed only one night and I think the complaints about the noise by other comments are a little too exaggerated. Living in Taiwan for six years now, hearing people talking outside of the room is not something strange, yet you won’t hear...

"Just steps from Juifen old street our room was a little oasis in the middle of everything. Great location and great service. We got lost trying to find the hotel (will blame our taxi driver in that) but the front desk lady was able To find us with just a call and take us directly to our “little apartment” "

"We had a delightful stay at Chez Poky. It is clear that each detail, from the decor, to the tableware, to the toiletries and in-room snacks was chosen with great care and thought. There were so many beautiful things to look at, and an incredible selection of films you can borrow to watch in your room. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was also very enjoyable - each morning, we were treated to a local Tainanese dish, with a helpful explanation of its history and...

"Great hotel with super attentive staff. Room is very comfortable and has great amenities. The checkin was easy and the staff were always available to assist during our stay. Hotel is conveniently situated above Q Square which has a great selection of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Train and Bus stations are also downstairs in the shopping mall. Perfect place to discover the city. Only thing this hotel could improve is their Gym, its not set up very well and the equipment is pretty bad.. Will definitely be back to this hotel next year!"
