"The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Extras included were a wine & cheese platter each afternoon and homemade cookies to finish the day. Both were unexpected delights! And breakfasts were generous AND delicious. The room was comfy cozy and a great place to pause and enjoy. We've stayed in B&Bs in Newport several times over the years and found the Hydrangea House (HH) to be an A experience. Thank you to Kim and her team at HH. "

"We love the Wellington resort you feel like you’re at home not in a small hotel room. It’s very spacious and big enough to bring your family or just for two. Its also a great location. "For our 25th anniversary we chose Newport, RI for a getaway. As first time visitors, we researched options and chose the Vanderbilt because it seemed central in location and the fact there were onsite spa services and good bar. This first choice was fortunate because we then met Morgan, the lead concierge. I booked the hotel and then immediately emailed re:spa services. Morgan called within 5 minutes of my email to book our appts and then proactively offered other services, ideas, and resources....

Wonderful little hotel in Newport for couples geta

"We were in Newport for a show and decided to book this hotel. It was BEAUTIFUL. A cozy hotel with only a few rooms (Maybe 10-20?) but so beautifully decorated. The room was comfortable and extremely clean. The manger was so welcoming and personable. The breakfast the next morning was made up of a bunch of small but delicious options including a frittata, fruit smoothies in little shot glasses, overnight oats etc.... We would absolutely stay here again "
