My first time back in Newport in 59 years. The town and former Naval Base has changed a good bit. More than pleased with fact the Newport Hotel and Marina was so convenient to the wedding venue, could accommodate my needs with a walk in shower, and had such a great staff!! The hotel was clean, fresh, and just a great place. Thank you! bob smith

Hotel was a little outdated and in some disrepair (our room had some decor on the wall falling, windows were not cleaned and was not a clear view) and room dirtier than expected (we found clumps of hair on the floor upon check in). Area was perfect to be close to the wharf and downtown, but not worth the price.

Not much of a restaurant. We came at night around 8:45 and left after 10 minutes. Hotel is very dated and had heavy floral scent everywhere. Staff was great, but it’s just an ok hotel,for the money.

The bathroom was really small comparable to a cruise ship. The windows were poorly cleaned it was difficult to see the harbor view. The headboard was poorly fastened to the wall as it almost took my arm off while I was in a deep sleep. I was credited back my $35 resort fee as compensation🙄
